Lugansk State Medical University was founded in 1956 also called Voroshilovgrad state medical university. I.D. Vashenko was the first rector of LSMU who is the honored doctor of Ukraine. The LSMU has received IVth accreditation level by Ministry of Health, Ukraine. The institute has more than 170 medical specialties, 400 medical staff, 60 doctors of science, 270 candidates involved in research & development projects.

ODESSA NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Odessa National Medical University “ONMU” established in 1900, and it is officially the largest university of medicine situated in Europe. The university acquired the National accreditation status in 1977. ONMU was the first medical university to gain a national rating in Ukraine. ONMU is the government university with the blend of world-known scientists, founders of scientific medical schools, Noble prize winner, Director of Institute of Experimental Immunology etc.

TERNOPIL NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Ternopil National Medical University is ranked among one of the top universities in Ukraine. It was established on September 1, 1957. The university has got the third rank with IVth highest level of accreditation by Ministry of Health and Education in Ukraine. There are 800 foreign students from 48 countries all over the world.

UZHHOROD NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

After the establishment on October 18, 1945, Uzhhorod National Medical University has received the status of autonomy in the Carpathian, Ukraine. Uzhhorod National Medical University is the largest university in the Carpathian region. From the past years, the university has developed its own school of teaching, scientific and educational traditions. Uzhhorod National University has 1275 staff for scientific and pedagogical work, 146 doctors of sciences, 698 candidates of sciences, 11 honored scientists, 4 honored workers of National education of Ukraine & 14 honored doctors of Ukraine.

ZAPOROZHYE STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Zaporozhye State Medical University is one of the multidisciplinary institutions in Ukraine having the 4th level of accreditation with autonomous management. In 1959, the educational institutions were shifted from Odessa to Zaporozhyand in the year of 1968, the institute was renamed as Zaporozhye Medical Institute. In 1994, the institute received the status of State Medical University which provides higher education services offering courses in bachelor, master, specialists, postgraduate studies, internships, doctoral studies, pharmacists, etc.

VINNITSA NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Vinnitsa National Medical University was established in 1921. The educational institution was named after Pirogov in 1960. Vinnitsa National Medical University has been granted the status of a university in the year 1994. The university has a high level of experienced staff for academic curriculum. The national status of the university was awarded as “Diplomas of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”. The Vinnitsa National Medical University has well-biased faculties who guide the students not only in studies also for a career.
